- Health metrics such as blood pressure, blood glucose, and blood ketone readings
- Profile information such as date of birth, height, and biological sex (used for BMI and silhouette calculations)
- App preferences and settings
All of this data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
2. How We Use Your Information
Because all data is stored locally on your device, it is used solely to provide the features of the App to you, including:
- Tracking and displaying your fasting progress
- Calculating and displaying your BMI and body silhouette
- Showing trends and charts based on your measurement history
- Sending local push notifications about your fasting goals and stages
3. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with any third parties. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Because your data never leaves your device, it is not accessible to us.
4. Local Notifications
The App uses local push notifications to alert you when your fast is complete or when you enter a new fasting stage. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers or services.
5. Third-Party Services
The current version of the App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. If this changes in future versions, this policy will be updated accordingly.
6. Data Security
Your data is stored in your device's local storage using standard Android security mechanisms. We recommend keeping your device secured with a PIN, password, or biometric lock to protect your personal information.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data remains on your device for as long as you use the App. You can delete your fasting history or measurement records at any time from within the App's Settings screen. Uninstalling the App will permanently remove all locally stored data from your device.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has entered personal information into the App, you can delete it from within the App's Settings screen.
9. Medical Disclaimer
Windō is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition or disease. The health metrics and body measurements tracked in the App are for personal informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
